Acceptance Letter & Study Permit

If you are granted admission to a CALDO university, you will receive an official acceptance letter from the respective university’s registrar. You will then need to apply for a study permit from Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

Students planning to attend Université Laval must also apply for a certificat d'acceptation du Québec (CAQ) from the Government of Quebec, which is required for attending any academic institution in Quebec.

To ensure that there is enough time to obtain your permit, you should apply to your program of interest as early as possible, ideally a year before you plan to study.
